Peninsula woman tries to put Kinesiology degree to work
Let me try something new: giving people a chance to talk about their circumstances and objectives, for whatever help it may be to them in the form of useful comments, or inspiration and ideas for the group.
Kinesiology is the science of human movement, and in the process of corresponding with Peninsula woman Marisa Davis I learned that she has had trouble finding full-time, professional employment with the undergraduate degree she earned from San Francisco State University in May 2008.
With her permission I’ll share her most recent note to me (click on the “Read More” button below), but essentially she has discovered that she will need to take additional specialized training to realize her ambitions. Meanwhile, she is working part-time in a related field and living at home with her parents.
If you have any ideas for Marisa or information about putting her degree to work, please be kind enough to share.
